J.08 Update: Last Stop: Amsterdam!
"After leaving Turkey we quickly turned our attention to the chaos of finals week, studying for examinatiions, preparing presentations, and writing term papers. By the time we reached Lisbon on 15 April, everyone was ready for some much needed relaxation time. Most spent our 12 hours in Lisbon unwinding and exploring the city, while others braved long lines at the post office to send 16 weeks' worth of souvenirs home.
The leg between Lisbon and Amsterdam brought a packing frenzy as well as graduation and closing ceremonies, which were particularly moving. As the ship pulled into Amsterdam on 19 April, most shed tears as they said goodbye to the friends that now feel like family after having experienced this incredible journey together. Ten countries, siwteen weeks, and 21.000 nautical miles later, we have all changed and grown in ways that we likely won't even recognize until long after the voyage is over. "
